The University of Hong Kong, abbreviated as HKU, is a comprehensive and international public research university located in Hong Kong, China. It is known as the Ivy League of Asia.
The University of Hong Kong was founded on March 16, 1910, and officially registered on March 30 of the following year. It is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Hong Kong. The Finance program of the University of Hong Kong is ranked as TOP30 and is a one-year full-time course. MFin is offered under the Business school and combines statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering and computer programming techniques with knowledge of finance, accounting, economics and law.
Its courses are relatively quantified, offering students multiple learning pathways and dual major options. Students can choose based on their interests and career aspirations. Students of this course will have the opportunity to interact with first-class faculty, outstanding alumni and mentors, and will benefit from internship opportunities at well-known enterprises in the industry.
The Master of Finance program at the University of Hong Kong has also established professional partnerships with the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts and GARP to ensure that the program is closely integrated with professional practice and is highly suitable for students to prepare for the demands of the global financial industry and to take the Chartered Financial Analyst examination.
