Foreign universities have more mature academic thoughts and technical concepts in many fields. I hope to have the opportunity to get in touch with the cutting-edge professional directions so as to develop better in the future. At the same time, I also hope to see a more wonderful and vast world. Therefore, I choose to study abroad for further education.
A worry-free partner
Nowadays, the number of study abroad agencies in the market is dazzling, and each one presents itself very well, causing great confusion for students when making a choice. However, I think what's important is to see whether your consultant and document teacher are professional, whether they have a sufficient understanding of the target school and major, whether they have a wealth of successful cases, etc. Also, research the reputation and evaluation of the institution. In this way, you can have a general understanding of it.
I went to the office of Yisiboluo to have a face-to-face communication with Teacher Chen. Throughout the consultation process, Teacher Chen was very considerate and introduced various details about studying abroad to me. She was prompt and accurate in choosing a school and a major, which made me full of confidence in the professional capabilities of both Teacher Chen and Yisiboluo. The admission results also prove that Yisi Boluo is a worry-free and pleasant partner for me in my choice of studying abroad!
During the summer vacation of my sophomore year, I officially started my cooperation with Yisi Boluo. Teacher Zhu, the planning teacher, is responsible for the planning and arrangement of my next two semesters. Teacher Zhu carefully and comprehensively analyzed my own situation and, in combination with the admission standards of the target university, made a detailed plan for enhancing my background. At the same time, she also urged me to complete the language test as soon as possible. A clear and well-organized plan no longer made me feel at a loss about the application. Eventually, under the guidance of my teacher, I accomplished the set goals step by step and made thorough preparations for the application in an orderly manner.
During the application stage, Teacher Chen, based on my existing conditions, analyzed the details of each school's program and the application situation, and formulated a school selection list with a clear gradient according to the difficulty of admission. During the brainstorming stage of the document, the document teacher patiently explained various details that needed to be supplemented and improved in the process of document creation, constantly exploring my bright spots. The final document was fluent in language, rich in content, smooth in expression, and very logical in writing, demonstrating a high level of professionalism in every aspect.
In addition to professional guidance in academic and application aspects, Yisi Boluo also prepared a variety of cultural and recreational activities for us, such as Halloween, Christmas, and pre-departure meetings, all of which brought me many surprises. Besides, teachers would visit us at school every semester, which enabled me to make more friends in my spare time from study. In conclusion, the teachers at Yisiboluo are like family, giving us a lot of care and love.
2. A difficult choice
During the application preparation stage, I happened to get the opportunity to be recommended for postgraduate study at a prestigious domestic university. Whether to choose the uncertain path of studying abroad once again left me confused. Teacher Chen and Teacher Zhu patiently analyzed the possibility of admission for me and compared various options. After careful consideration, I gave up the recommendation for postgraduate study.
What impressed me the most was the period when I was waiting for the application result. The initial anticipation turned into anxiety and uncertainty about the future. I thought about this almost every day and was very worried about being rejected. From time to time, I would check various online posts showing off offers and share their joy together.
My entire application season lasted for about four and a half months. During this period, my teachers gave me great encouragement and support, did their best to relieve my inner tension, and were like lighthouses that made me feel at ease. In this way, with the joint assistance of all the teachers at Yisi Boluo, I successfully received an offer from my dream university.
I still remember the excitement when I received my first offer letter. A heart that had been in suspense for a long time finally settled down. If I have to describe the feeling of getting an offer from my dream school, the scene of Fan Jin passing the imperial examination would be the most appropriate. hhh.
The successive offers from prestigious universities have also brought me "happy troubles". After being admitted to two of my dream schools, NUS and IC, I was in a dilemma for a while. As both were dream institutions, it really put me in a difficult position. At this time, Professor Chen, in light of my future doctoral study plans, gave me professional advice again and comprehensively sorted out the mentor Settings and scholarship arrangements in the relevant fields of the two schools.
3. Sincere suggestions
Looking back on the entire process from deciding to study abroad to receiving the offer, although it wasn't all smooth sailing, I am very satisfied with the outcome. Regarding the entire application process, I have summarized a few suggestions, hoping they will be helpful to my younger schoolmates
Choose a suitable major and school based on your own needs.
Before choosing a school, it is essential to consider clearly why you want to study abroad. Is it to pursue better educational conditions and gain advantages in academic or employment aspects, or is it to settle down abroad and completely change your future life? Only by setting clear goals can one be targeted and choose a major that suits both the curriculum and the direction of interest based on one's future plans.
(2) Make study abroad plans as early as possible.
Studying abroad planning is a very long-term process that requires long-term planning and implementation. Therefore, it is never too early to plan for studying abroad. First of all, everyone needs to choose whether to find an agency or do it themselves based on their understanding of the application process. Based on my personal experience, being able to select the right institution and teachers to work with will make things twice as effective with half the effort. Then, based on the admission preferences of the target institution - whether it places more emphasis on internship experience, certificates or academic achievements, etc., gradually approach the requirements of the school. Studying abroad, as a systematic undertaking, requires every step to be done solidly and thoroughly in order to ultimately reap surprises that exceed expectations.
(3) Continuously improve oneself and meticulously plan one's study and life.
The academic performance during the four years of university is the key to the success of an application. A good GPA is the stepping stone to enter a prestigious university. If one starts working hard right after entering the school, there is no need to keep making up for the GPA as the application approaches.
Fate has led me to meet this warm big family of Yisi Boluo. I am grateful to all the teachers for their continuous hard work and support, as well as their dedication to my application for studying abroad.
I hope Yisi Boluo and all the teachers will do better and better!
