Tutoring Review
Xia, a student majoring in computer science at a 211 finance and economics university, first met her during a campus event in her sophomore year. At that time, Xia felt that the platform for the computer science major in a finance and economics university was insufficient. Additionally, she had always been yearning for the academic atmosphere and resources of the computer science major in the United States. Therefore, she was eager to receive professional planning guidance and a plan to enhance her professional competitiveness. Help her apply for a master's degree in computer science at an American university.
Under the long-term planning of Explore, Xia student rationally allocated his energy, maintained a gpa of 3.7, and achieved an excellent score of 106 in the TOEFL test on his first attempt. Regarding the improvement of professional and research capabilities and other background enhancements, we helped the student match a professor from Carnegie Mellon University, a computer science institution in the United States, who guided the student to conduct online computer research and eventually produced a paper. In addition, due to the relatively spacious planning period, we also connected Xia with Leo, the computer science academic mentor of explore, for a one-on-one EI conference paper project. Eventually, Xia produced a second paper, and he was the first author. Ultimately, the experiences and outputs of these two papers by the students will be regarded as proof of their own computer application and research capabilities.
The student eventually received an invitation to the computer science program at Columbia University in the United States and was admitted to the computer science program at the University of Florida. Due to cost-effectiveness and personal preferences, he/she ultimately chose to study at the University of Florida.
